Lusanda Bill
12 August 2011
The Cabinet approved toll tariffs for Johannesburg/Pretoria freeway on Thursday.
The Automobile Association says this does not bode well for motorists and it is no victory for ordinary people.
The AA’s Gary Ronald says the AA is disappointed that no alternative solution to funding the Gauteng freeway improvement plan was found.
Ronald says goods and merchandise are going to cost more as a direct result of the tolls and this means the poor will suffer most.
