Business Unity South Africa, or Busa, says the risk of a recession in South Africa remains low.
But it says the global situation reinforces the need for domestic policies that are certain and predictable.
Busa says in a statement it agrees with the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Reserve Bank Gill Marcus.
Marcus and Gorden said despite the current disorder in global financial markets, South Africa’s financial institutions are adequately capitalized.
