The Western Cape tourism sector says women are underrepresented in the tourism industry.
This is despite them performing key roles and responsibilities at all levels.
Calvyn Gilfellan of Cape Town Routes Unlimited says he is concerned.
He added that in some of the sub-sectors women are still struggling to break through the proverbial glass ceiling.
