Julius Malema’s disciplinary hearing will resume next Sunday. The chairperson of the ANC’s national disciplinary committee Derek Hanekom says three days have been set aside for the completion of the Youth League leader’s hearing.
Hanekom says the postponement is a result of the availability of parties to the hearing.
Yesterday, evidence was heard on a single charge of misconduct against Malema and four other Youth League leaders. A finding on this hearing will also be handed down next Sunday.
A date for Floyd Shivambu’s hearing still has to be set.
If time permits, the disciplinary hearing of secretary general Sindiso Magaqa, who faces a single charge of misconduct, will be finalised in the three days set aside from the 11th.
