Western Cape Police today said the body of 3-year-old Olivia de Voeght was found in Grassy Park this morning

last seen on Tuesday evening at her home in Lotus River. This follows an incident whereby a badly decomposed body was found last month in Zeekoevlei, but the body has yet to be identified.

Police Spokesperson Tembinkosi Kinana said with the help of the police chopper and neighborhood watches the body was seen in the river after it was identified as the body of the little girl that was reported missing yesterday Olivia Voeght.

“We have managed to arrest four people two of which are the mother and the father of the little girl and they will be charged with child neglect,” added Kinana.
