An accident leaves a man in his twenties dead

An accident involving a bakkie and truck on Nelson Mandela Drive on Thursday left one man in his twenties dead. 

It is believed that the bakkie was turning into an intersection street when the truck collided with it resulting in ten occupants being ejected from the vehicle. 

ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said Er24 arrived on the scene to find that one of the occupants died on scene while his fellow passengers suffered moderate injuries.

Majija added that all the injured were treated on scene and were transported to nearby hospital for further care.
