Two suspects arrested for being in possession of drugs in Durban

Two drug dealers were last week arrested by the Durban Flying Squad Narcotics Task Team. 

The two suspects were arrested in separate drug busts and during the arrests police seized rock cocaine, ecstasy and dagga.

Captain Thulani Zwane said when police searched a house they found rock cocaine and 600 ecstasy tablets to the street value of more than R44 000. A 37-year-old suspect was arrested and detained for possession of drugs. 

“Police also searched a house in Chatsworth where they found 512 grams of dagga and a 44-year-old suspect was also arrested and detained on charges of possession of drugs. The value of the drugs seized is estimated at R2 500-00” Zwane added.

Zwane said the total value of all the drugs was more than R46 500-00.
