Nature Area has a morning walk to Muizenberg Peak on Thursday March 5. Call Sue Windo on 021 715 1708. On Thursday March 12 there is a morning walk from Muizenberg Beach to Strandfontein. Those interested should meet at Muizenberg Pavilion at 8am or call Heron Burger on 021 782 5079.
Rondebosch East Primary School, 4th Avenue, Rondebosch East, will host its annual fun walk on Saturday March 14. The 8kn walk starts at 8.30 am and the 4 km at 8.45 am. Pre-entries cost R15 and late entries cost R20. Stalls are available, without electricity, for R150. For details, call 021 697 1403.
The Animal rescue Organisation, a registered non-profit organisation for the welfare of township animals, needs donations of saleable bric-a-brac, books, CDs and household items. If you can assist please contact the organisation on 021 396 5511.
