Springbok coach Peter De Villiers says he is consulting with the medical teams of the super 14 franchises in order to obtain a complete assessment on the current spate of injuries to springbok players.
Currently several players expected to be involved in the three test castle South Africa Lions series are either injured or doubtful to start their respective matches this weekend.
Fullback Conrad Jantjies is definitely ruled out with a broken leg. According to De Villiers he regularly speaks to the Super 14 squad’s medical people regarding injured players.
