The DA has laid anti-corruption charges against the leadership of the ANC Youth League, and against Board members of its investment wing Lembede Investment Holdings.

The charge comes about after questions were raised on the management of the funds.

“ Lembede Investment Holdings is a company run by the ANC Youth League which was involved in a vast tangle of irregularities and possible fraud and corruption.

“ We have laid charges of corruption under the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activity Act against the ANCYL, because we believe the potential serious abuse of money under their control, needs to be investigated,” said DA leader, Helen Zille.
