International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana - Mashabane is expected to host her first conference of South African Heads of Mission, since appointed to the portfolio, the department said on Thursday.
The conference is expected to, among other things; to sharpen South Africa’s international relations policy approaches to a range of issues of national and international importance.
President Jacob Zuma is expected to address the conference at which presentations are expected to be made by Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti, Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan and National Planning Commission Minister in the Presidency, Trevor Manuel.
Following the conference, Minister Nkoana-Mashabane is to host a farewell dinner in honour of her predecessor, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma whom is now Home Affairs Minister.
