A taxi carrying 16 passengers rolled on the N2 in the direction of Cape Town, opposite the airport this morning.
All the occupants sustained injuries from the accident and were all taken to various hospitals for further treatment.
ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadely says of the 16 patients, eleven were taken to hospital sustaining minor and moderate injuries.
There was a big delay in traffic entering the city due to the incident.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
