The Department of Labour will continue its inspections in the hospitality sector this week.
The department’s executive manager in the inspection and enforcement division, Zakes Mogwatlhe.is quoted as saying they will “leave no stone unturned as they inspect the industry with a “fine tooth comb” like they did during mall inspections last year.
The inspections, which are aimed at ensuring compliance with labour laws, will continue tomorrow with inspectors visiting several hotels and restaurants countrywide.
Last October, the department carried out inspections at shopping malls that mainly targeted restaurants.
