Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is expected to meet with Umalusi officials in Pretoria today, to discuss the delay in the release of Mpumalanga’s matric results.
The quality control body announced that matriculants from Mpumalanga will not be receiving their marks on Thursday along with the rest of the country.
Umalusi Chairman Professor John Volmink told a press briefing in Pretoria yesterday the decision was made after five matric papers were leaked in the province.
He said he expected the approval of the results of the majority of exam centers in the province within a few days.
