The newly elected SABC board is reported to be preparing to challenge the appointment of its group chief executive officer
Former chief content officer at Telkom Media Solly Mokoetle was appointed after a decision by Communications of Minister Siphiwe Nyanda.
A source, only identified as “an angry board member", told the media the board would protest the imposition of Mokoetle.
The source says this is because the board had not appointed him.
The board member says the decision by the minister could drive the SABC into total disorder.
