Soft drinks Company, ABI, is expected to formally appeal to Cosatu and the Commission for Concilliation, Mediation and Arbitration, to intervene in the wage dispute between itself and the Food and Allied Workers Union.
Hundreds of workers downed tools, demanding a 9.5 percent wage increase but the company are offering only 8.3 percent.
In a statement the company said two high level interventions will take place this week in an attempt to halt violence and intimidation that have marked the ongoing strike at its depots.
The company has accused FAWU of unfair strike action, which included petrol bombing delivery vehicles and intimidation of non-striking workers.
