Afriquiyah Airways says the lengthy process of identifying the remains of the 13 South Africans killed in the plane crash in Tripoli last week continues.

Manager of the airline in South Africa Charmaine Thome says many family members have gone to Tripoli.

At the request of some family members, a visit was arranged to the crash site, and flowers were placed.

On Wednesday, 103 people were killed in the final minutes of the flight from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to the Libyan capital.

Only a Dutch boy, Ruben van Assouw, survived.
