Cape Town born musician Chad Saaiman is in a critical condition hospital after being shot on Sunday night.
Saaiman was shot in an attempted hijacking in Johhanesburg.
Stereotype Records, Chad’s record company, have confirmed that he has undergone surgery at a Johannesburg hospital and is now on a ventilator.
Chad was reportedly shot in the stomach.
Stereotype Records spokesperson Tony Blonde says his condition has not changed and updates will be given during the course of the day.
