Economists say only time will tell whether government’s new Jobs Fund will be successful.
Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan announced yesterday that nine-billion-Rands have been made available for the job creation process.
Businesses have already been invited to submit applications.
The fund is aimed at providing grants and not loans on a co-funding basis.
