Mismanagement of funds questioned by the ANC

Lusanda Bill
11 July 2011

The African National Congress in the Western Cape is calling for the dismissal of Cape Town city officials.

The ruling party expressed concern that the city’s DA administration has failed to spend 35-percent of the capital budget.

Deputy mayor Ian Neilson says the city is waiting on the final capital expenditure figures for the year.

ANC councillor Tony Ehrenreich says there has been no effective management of the funds that are available.
