Mitchell's Plain police member is out on bail after being arrested for drunk driving.
He crashed his unmarked police vehicle into a bakkie in Vanguard Drive on Friday night.
Investigations led to the 26-year-old constable being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless and negligent driving.
He is out on bail of 500-Rands and will appear in court tomorrow.
