The ANC postponed its meeting with the ANC Youth League, but disciplinary action still seems to be on the cards for Youth League leader Julius Malema.
ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe says the meeting in Johannesburg was postponed to separate the issue of meeting the Youth League’s new leadership from possible disciplinary action to be taken about its comments on Botswana.
Meanwhile Malema has paid a 50-thousand rand fine for his "nice time" remark about a woman who claimed she had been raped by President Jacob Zuma.
Malema paid the fine after he withdrew his appeal in June and made a public apology to "all women" for the statements he uttered.
