The case against three men accused of defrauding the Department of Labour’s Compensation Fund of millions-of-rands will resume in the Pretoria Specialised Crime Court on the 19th of this month.
The suspects’ bail of R3 000 has been extended.
The physiotherapist and two former employees of the Compensation Fund are facing 22 counts of fraud of more than R3.8 -million and 28 counts of money laundering amounting to more than R860 000
They allegedly changed the personal details of claimants and used intricate processes to channel payments to false accounts.
