A matric pupil was killed and another critically injured while on their way to their matric dance in the Folweni area near Isiphingo in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday evening.
The pupil who was killed was 18-years-old.
Two other matrics in the car escaped with minor injuries.Netcare 911’s Chris Botha says the critically injured patient was rushed to the Prince Mshiyeni hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
