The ANC says it is unfortunate that its Youth League chose to cast doubt on the party's national disciplinary committee.
It nevertheless welcomes the pronouncement by leaders of the League that they would appeal against the NDC outcome.
Suspended Youth League leader Julius Malema yesterday rejected the outcome of the disciplinary hearing. He accused the NDC of having decided on the outcome before the hearings had started.
In its response, the ANC says it is satisfied with the unquestionable competence of the committee.
