Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s daughter and the Executive Director of the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, Reverend Mpho Tutu, says her father was awarded the Templeton Prize in recognition of his work addressing problems and challenges of human life.
Mpho also said the Foundation is honoured for this awared.
Tutu said that their foundation is delighted proud of their founder and patron has received the honour.
“We share in the delight of the family and honour of this award” Tutu added.
