ER24 paramedics this morning responded to an accident whereby a driver of a passenger bus lost control on the N1 North.

It is believed that the cause of the accident could be the wet roads as it has been raining in the past few days.

The bus had just offloaded passengers from Port Elizabeth at Park Station and was headed to Pretoria when it overturned.

The bus has been identified as a Translux bus.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said the bus spurn around taking an opposite direction and crushed over one of the bridges.

“It was hanging precariously on the bridge above Jan Smith Avenue,” Jackson added.

Jackson further added that there were thirteen people in the vehicle and they all managed to climb from the ribcage.

She also said none of them were physical injured.
