MEC of Human Settlement in the Western Cape Bonginkosi Madikizela on Thursday held a public meeting at the Boystown Housing Project in Nyanga.

There have been allegations of corruption in the housing allocation process.

Due to these allegations contractors were stopped from doing their work, by residents.

At the public meeting MEC Madilizela said service delivery will continue at Boystown.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bruce Oom said the Minister told the community that the work will continue, and government will not be held by lawless individuals.

The Minister also asked for people with information about corruption could come forward and give the information to their office.

“The two processes of contraction on the side and investigating can happen in parallel” Oom said.
