MEC Winde leads Tourism Indaba in Durban

Western Cape MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde is in to Durban to lead the Western Cape Delegation at one of Africa’s biggest travel exhibitions, the annual Tourism Indaba.

Winde said cultural tourism was growing globally.

Spokesperson for the MEC Bronwynne Jooste said it is to explore the Western Cape’s cultural tourism links, this year there is a focus on culture and heritage at the Tourism Indaba and it’s a position the MEC feels the province can ideally position with icons like Robben Island and Table Mountain.
