Three people were killed and 15 others seriously injured in an accident last night in Khayelitsha.
ER24 paramedics and the Provincial Health Authorities responded to an accident in Lansdown road, where two taxi`s were involved in an accident.
ER24 Spokesperson Derrick Banks said three people were declared dead on the scene and the injured were treated on the scene before being rushed to hospital for further care.
Banks added that the cause of the accident is unknown at this stage and the police are investigating.
