ER24 paramedics this morning responded to a serious accident on the R59 in Vereeniging whereby three people died.
It is believed that a venture
transporting people to work collided with the back of a truck.
ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija
said the venture’s bonnet was ripped open and one of the deceased a woman was
laying on the engine, she died from the multiple severe injuries she sustained
when she was ejected from the vehicle.
Majija said the driver in his 40’s
was found trapped in his vehicle he died due to the head injuries he
sustained. Another male in his 40’s was
the third person killed in this accident.
He was ejected from the vehicle.
The exact details of the cause of
the accident are not known at this stage however police are investigating.
