Boy, aged 9, drowns in newly built sewage system

A Sebokeng nine-year-old child drowned in a newly built sewage system on Sunday afternoon.

ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said, “’When medics arrived on the scene they found that the boy had already succumbed to his injuries and there was nothing they could do for him.”


It isn't clear what caused the incident and local authorities are investigating.
