Abahlali baseMjondolo in the Western Cape received the long awaited response from city officials.
Two weeks ago they made their way to Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato's office, to submit their list of demands.
Abahlali baseMjondolo say they will meet on Saturday to discuss the report then afterward they will be able to give their views.
“The response we got was not the kind of response we are looking for; I think as Abahlali baseMjondolo we will reject it,” said chairperson of Abahlali baseMjondolo Mzonke Poni
“They are not taking us serious we will show them that we are serous because this is our lives we it’s either they gives us what we want or Cape Town will see something they haven’t seen in a long,” he concluded.
