A 23-year-old pregnant Durban woman has become South Africa’s fourth swine flu victim.
KwaZulu-Natal health spokesperson Chris Maxon says the woman was believed to have been seven months' pregnant.
She was admitted to the Addington Hospital on Monday with a high fever and other complications.
Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi said earlier the number of confirmed H1N1 flu cases in the country had almost reached two-thousand.
The first swine flu fatality was a 22 year old Stellenbosch University student.
