Police are investigating an incident of murder and suicide after a man shot his wife and himself at their place of work on Saturday morning.
According to reports , the couple went to work at a Sunninghill Pick 'n Pay this morning.
At 10.30am they had an argument in a store room behind the bakery.
The man, aged 34 years old, shot his wife, with a 9mm pistol before shooting himself in the head.
The couple died on the scene.
Customers were in the shop at the time. No-one was injured but the shop was closed after the shooting.
Police have opened an inquest docket and are investigating a case of murder.
