Three people died in a road accident near Sasolburg in the Free State last night.
ER24 spokesperson Lloyd Krause says six others were injured in the head-on collision between two cars.
The patients were all rushed to the Sasolburg Provincial Hospital.
Three of them were still in a critical condition this morning.
