Two women have been killed in a horror accident in Pietermaritzburg.
This is after a car that had been involved in a collision slammed into pedestrians at the side of the road.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks says the accident occurred in the suburb of Northdale.
A driver apparently lost control of his vehicle and shot across the road into oncoming traffic.
After hitting another vehicle, the first car then careened into a group of women, fatally injuring two of them.
