Three people have been killed in separate incidents in the Eastern Cape last night.
They were all stabbed to death in Mthatha, amidst New Year’s revelry.
In Zimbane village, a 25-year-old man was killed after having a heated argument with a friend in the local shebeen.
The alleged killer of a 23-year-old man was arrested shortly after police found the man dead in a tavern.
According to Superintendent Mzukisi Fatyela, the third victim was found in a street in Ngolo village, and is believed to have been stabbed early last night.
