Experts from the United States are expected to assess the Malawi earthquakes in January.
A team of two professionals will be evaluating the possible underlying causes of the recent series of earthquakes that hit the African country.
According to Malawian geological experts, more than 30 earthquakes have hit the mining town of Karonga, in the North of Malawi, since early December.
Four people have been killed and over 4 000 displaced.
The US embassy say the two-man team will also train local experts on post-earthquake assessments, as well as communicating with the public.
