A 62 year old man has passed away after he had an asthma attack just before Broadway Road, in the direction of Cape Town.
ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley says paramedics were called to a CPR in progress when paramedics arrived on the scene they found a paramedic student performing CPR on a male patient that is believed to be 62 years old.
“Advanced life support resuscitation was performed but unfortunately their efforts were unsuccessful.
“It is alleged that the man was driving a car, he then pulled over to the side of the road, got out and collapsed dead. A passenger that was in the vehicle said it appeared as though the man was having an asthma attack,” said Wadeley.
