12 people injured in an accident on the N2 highway

On the N2 highway before the Borcherds Quarry off ramp a minibus taxi collided with a vehicle.
It is alleged that the minibus taxi collided with the vehicle in front of it at some speed causing three other vehicles to also rear end each other.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and treated twelve people who needed medical assistance. Eight of the twelve people sustained minor injuries.
ER24’s Andre Visser said “all of the patients were treated at the scene before being transported to multiple medical facilities in the surrounding area”.
