An illegal drag racing den has been uncovered by traffic police in Cape Town.
Police received complaints in hot spot areas such as Athlone and Bellville.
Traffic services spokesperson, Kevin Jacobs says the traffic service is greatly concerned, about the growth in popularity of illegal drag racing in Cape Town.
Seven unroadworthy vehicles were towed away from the scene, three drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, and two tow-truck drivers were charged for various traffic offences.
