Public Protector Thuli Madonsela reportedly faces arrest for alleged fraud and corruption said to have been committed while she worked for the Law Reform Commission.

It is alleged that the Commission paid one-point-eight-million-Rands to a company she owned while she served as a full-time commissioner three years ago.

Madonsela says she never concealed her company from her employers. It was also never paid more than half-a-million-Rands for work it did for the Justice Department.

Madonsela is about to submit final reports into her investigations into two controversial police headquarters lease deals.
