Striking Numsa members are again being accused of intimidation and violence on the fifth day of their nationwide strike.
Reports of attacks have been coming in from Gauteng’s East and West Rand and from Randburg.
The union is scheduled to meet employers in the metal and engineering sector in the Bargaining Chamber this afternoon to try and settle their differences.
Cosatu has meanwhile condemned incidents where they say police have opened fire on strikers.
