The ANC Youth League’s Limpopo provincial secretary Jacob Lebogo has been identified as the man behind the riots that have characterised Julius Malema’s appearance at a disciplinary hearing in Johannesburg.
Despite the ANC Youth League insisting that it had nothing to do with the violent protests, City Press says Lebogo, known as a Malema confidant, commandeered hundreds of so-called “Young Lions” to storm Luthuli House.
The ANC is also trying to establish who paid millions-of-Rands for the 54 buses and taxis that ferried supporters to Johannesburg.
