The boy whoa was believed to have been sold by his grandmother in Khayelitsha has been reunited with his mother.
Last week, it emerged that the grandmother sold the child for R500.
Ovayo Maxetuka was reportedly sold to a woman from Kraaifontien near Cape Town.
The grandmother was arrested and is still in police custody.
The boy was found on Friday, taken to hospital and is said to be doing well.
