ANC condemns the ‘attractive race’ article

The African National Congress said that it condemns the objectionable race stereotyping by the University of Cape Town student paper, in which it reinforces and elevates the attractiveness of one race above the other. 

ANC’s Western Cape leader Marius Fransman said ultimately there is only one race, the human race. 

ANC’s Phillip Dexter said the ANC strongly condemns this manifestation of racism at the University of Cape Town and what is of concern is the response of the institutions because stronger actions should have been taken.

Dexter added that the Young Communist League is following up on this issue and the ANC will wait to hear the outcome.

This comes after a university newspaper poled students about interracial relationships in trying to find out which race is more attractive and the results showed that the students found whites more attractive.
