Today the Western Cape MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde is today leaving for the trade and investment mission to the Netherlands.

MEC Winde said this event brings business and government together to look at what lessons the public and private sector can learn from one another, specifically with regard to good financial governance.

Winde explains that he will also be doing export trade promotion and tourism promotion.

“We export a lot of wine to the Netherlands, a lot of agricultural produce too the Netherlands and we are also a destination for Dutch tourist, so we will be looking at ways and mechanisms to increase both trade and investments between the two regions,” added Winde.
