Call for Mac Maharaj to be investigated

The Democratic alliance has recommended that President Jacob Zuma suspend the Presidency’s spokesperson Mac Maharaj.
The party said the Public Protector must investigate media allegations against Maharaj.
The DA said Maharaj should be suspended until the investigation is completed.
DA Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane said if the President is serious about fighting corruption, he should start by ensuring that his Spokesperson is investigated.
Maimane added that it is vital for the President to stay true to his word.
