Completed houses to be handed over in Calitzdorp

The Western Cape MEC of Human Settlements, Bonginkosi Mdikizela, will today be handing over some of the 80 completed houses in Calitzdorp, Kannaland.
Ministry Spokesperson Bruce Oom says when completed the project will deliver a total of 250 houses, with the remaining 170 to be finished by the end of March 2013.
Oom also said that houses have been allocated in line with the Departments policy of prioritising the elderly and the other special needs.
Oom added that there are three beneficiaries who are over the age of 60 years that will be receiving their homes today.
